Lila J. Truett
Dale B. Truett
This article surveys the development of the Mexican tourist industry from 1946 to the present and describes developments which led to expansion of that industry in the 1970s. A demand equation is presented, and hypotheses regarding the variables determining foreign tourists' demand for visits are supported.
