The Distant Overseas U.S. Tourist: An Exploratory Study

This article reports the findings of a pilot survey aimed at profiling and better under standing the U.S. tourist visiting distant destinations in the Far East. Comparisons between this segment and other foreign destination segments are made . Implications of the findings are discussed.
