Travel as Theater: A New Challenge to the Credibility of Tourism

Joanna S. Caproni, Simmons Market Research Bureau, gave a presentation at the wrap-up session of the Long Beach TTRA Conference titled, "Travel as Theater. " So many people approached me about the possibility of publishing her thought-provoking remarks in the Notes and Communications section of the Journal that I agreed.
