Casinos and Urban Redevelopment in Australia

Casinos are now being integrated with other large-scale urban tourism developments as part of a broader movement by Australian governments to attract investment, create employment, and re-image their cities. It is argued that such measures have substantial implications for urban governance, public participation, and urban redevelopment.
